The general public is hereby informed that the 2025 Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) have granted scholarship for qualified Tanzania for the academic year 2025/2026.

The Eligibility Criteria
a) Academic excellence:
For Master’s applicant Minimum Level of Education will be Bachelor’s Degree and Doctoral Minimum Level of Education will be Master’s Degree. Applicants must submit an academic transcript with CGPA or ranking information.
b) Language ability
Applicants who are expected to complete the IRTS Korean language program by August 2025 are eligible to apply if they have achieved a TOPIK, TOPIK IBT Level 3 or higher. Accepted certificates include TOPIK results from the 87th to the 100th exams and TOPIK IBT results from the 1st to the 7th exams. (Applicants who have not yet obtained a valid TOPIK certificate at the time of application may still apply.)
c) Health
All applicants must be in good health, both mentally and physically, to study in Korea for the full duration of the program.
List of documents for submission
- Documents to be submitted by Evaluation Stage include:
Application form, Personal Statement, Study Plan, Research Proposal, Letter of Recommendation, Letter of Invitation, Applicant Agreement, Personal Medical Assessment, Consent to Collect and Use Personal Information (Form 1~10)
- Required certificates:
Graduation certificate, academic transcript, proof of citizenship, proof of overseas Koreans, etc. The letter of recommendation must be signed and sealed by one recommender who can evaluate the applicant’s academic abilities.
All documents including application form must be submitted to the Embassy no later than the 28th of February (Friday), 2025.
