2026 Sony World Photography Awards
Professional Competition
- Free to enter
- Open to anyone submitting a series of 5 to 10 images per category
- 10 diverse categories available to enter
- Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each category, plus up to 7 shortlisted photographers
- Photographer of the Year title awarded to one overall winner
- Winner gets a solo exhibition at the Sony World Photography Awards London show in the following year
- Deadline: 13 January 2026, 13:00 GMT
Student Competition
- Free to enter for students aged 18 to 30 years old enrolled in a photography program*
- Participants submit 5 to 10 images responding to a set brief
- Up to 10 photographers will be shortlisted
- One overall winner will be crowned Student Photographer of the Year
- Deadline: 28 November 2025, 13:00 GMT
