The Tanzania Police Force has announced the names of 3,500 young people selected to join the force along with the date of reporting to school.
The statement issued by the Chief of Police on Monday September 23, 2024 states that the names of those selected must be reported from September 30, 2024.
“The Chief of the Police Force announces to all young people selected to join the Police Force in the country, they are required to report to the Moshi Police School from 30/09/2024 to 02/10/2024 to attend training.
“Young people who were interviewed by the Dar es Salaam Police Academy (DPA) and the forces under the Police Headquarters are required to report to the Dar es Salaam Police Area (Barracks), Kilwa Road near the Central Police Hospital on September 30, 2024 from 12.00 in the morning for the trip to the Moshi Police School,” explains the statement.
According to the statement, those who have interviewed the regions of Mainland Tanzania are required to report to the regional police commanders on September 29, 2024 at 2.00 am in order to be given the procedure for the trip to the Moshi Police School.
Also, those who interviewed in Zanzibar (Unguja and Pemba) are required to report to the Zanzibar Police Headquarters (Ziwani) on September 29, 2024 for travel arrangements.
