FASSET invites qualifying learners to apply for the FASSET 2025 bursary. The bursary covers students that are registered to study towards a finance and accounting qualification at a public TVET college, University and University of Technology.
Selection Criteria FASSET 2025 Bursary
Unemployed Learners:
- Only South African citizens are eligible to apply
- A learner must be from a combined household income not exceeding R1 000 000 per annum.
- Learners must be registered or have been accepted at a Public University or University of of Technology or TVET college.
- The selected qualifications should be within FAS sector however preference will be given to IT related qualifications and other national critical skills.
- The bursary funding will be capped at R100 000 for university learners, and R40 000 for TVET per beneficiary, per annum
- The bursary funding covers tuition Fees, prescribed textbooks, accommodation, meal allowances only.
Learners in a Learning Development Programme – Interns and Trainees:
- Learners must be registered or have been accepted at a Public University or University of Technology or TVET college.
- The selected qualifications should be within FAS sector however preference will be given to IT related qualifications and other national critical skills.
- The bursary funding will be capped at R100 000 for university learners, and R40 000 for TVET per beneficiary, per annum.
- The bursary funding covers tuition Fees and prescribed textbooks only.
- NB. Selection will be on a first come first served basis. However, priority will be afforded to academic achievements.
