SUBMITTING A UIF CONTINUATION FORM AT THE LABOUR CENTRE
To manually submit the continuation form (UI.6A), hand over the completed form at your nearest labour centre. Download it at www.labour.gov.za then click on “Resource Centre” then “Forms” and “Unemployment Insurance Fund” and select “UI.6A” Confirmation of Unemployment Status”.

SUBMITTING A UIF CONTINUATION OF PAYMENT ON UFILING
- Open a web browser and go to https://ufiling.labour.gov.za/uif/
- Use your username and password to log in.
- Click on “Benefit Applications and Payments”.
- Select “Continuation of Benefits”.
- Use the drop-down arrow to select one of the four benefits and click “next”.
- Accept the terms and conditions.
- Confirm banking details.
- Confirm personal details.
- Select your region, labour centre and confirm employment status.
- Once successfully submitted, the following message will appear “your application has been successfully submitted”.
