President Samia Suluhu Hassan has appointed two deputy secretaries-general secretaries and transferred three others.
Dr. Msonde of NECTA Transfered TAMISEMI
A statement issued on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 by the Director of Communications at the Presidential Palace, Zuhura Yunus stated that President Samia has appointed Dr Charles Msonde as Deputy Principal Secretary to the Office of the President, Regional Administration and Local Government – Education (Education).
Dr Msonde has replaced Gerald Mweli who has been transferred to the Ministry of Agriculture.
Prior to this appointment, Dr Msonde was the Executive Secretary of the National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA).
Dr Msonde who has led Necta for eight years was appointed to the post in August 2014.
Dr Msonde was appointed to fill the vacancy left by Professor Joyce Ndalichako, who has announced a free leave of absence for academic development, who is currently the Minister of State for the Prime Minister’s Office for Labor, Employment, Youth and the Disabled
