NAAEE Global E-STEM Awards 2025 (Up to $50,000), The North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE) is inviting applications for the 2025 Global E-STEM Awards, offering funding of up to $50,000 USD to organizations around the world. These prestigious awards recognize and support excellence and innovation in E-STEM education, empowering young people aged 11 to 22 to drive environmental solutions through science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).

What is E-STEM?
E-STEM education combines STEM learning with real-world environmental challenges, encouraging students to apply interdisciplinary knowledge to solve pressing global issues such as:
- Conservation and biodiversity protection
- Energy efficiency and renewable solutions
- Sustainable transportation and infrastructure
This approach not only builds critical STEM skills but also fosters environmental literacy and action among youth.
Award Benefits

Expectations for Awardees
Organizations that receive the award must:
- Attend a 1-hour virtual orientation in late 2025 or early 2026
- Submit midterm and final reports evaluating outcomes such as environmental literacy, STEM skills, and student engagement
- Share updates and insights through blogs, social media, or presentations
- Participate in quarterly engagement opportunities with NAAEE, Pratt & Whitney, and fellow grantees
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be a school, academic institution, university, or a nonprofit/NGO with legal status equivalent to 501(c)(3) in their country
- Have no restrictions or sanctions under U.S. or applicable laws
- Possess a working bank account that can receive USD electronic funds
- Demonstrate administrative and fiscal stability
- Have an existing or proposed E-STEM program for youth aged 11–22
- Be able to implement the program between December 2025 and October 2026
