Main Purpose of the Position

Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will perform several responsibilities related to pharmacy management and medical supply systems.
Pharmacy and Stock Management
- Ensure proper storage, stock management, and supply processes according to MSF standards.
- Maintain good storage conditions for medicines, including temperature, humidity, and light control.
- Implement hygiene and pest control measures to protect medical supplies.
- Maintain updated stock records and monitor expiry dates.
Supply Chain Coordination
- Coordinate the delivery and reception of international and local medical orders.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages, overstocking, or expiring medicines.
- Ensure the availability of essential drugs and medical supplies at all times.
Inventory and Reporting
- Record all received and issued items using Isystock software.
- Track medical consumption patterns and report unusual trends.
- Forecast future pharmaceutical needs and support budget planning.
Supervision and Team Management
- Supervise pharmacy staff and coordinate with the HR department for recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
- Organize staff shifts and ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff regarding medication dispensing.
Peripheral Facility Support
- Supervise pharmacy management practices at supported healthcare facilities.
- Ensure medicines are distributed according to prescriptions.
- Monitor pharmacy orders to prevent stock-outs or expired drugs.
- Provide mentoring and technical training to healthcare staff.
Quality Assurance and Pharmacovigilance
- Enforce Good Storage Practices (GSP) and proper cold chain management.
- Support pharmacovigilance activities and adverse drug reaction reporting.
- Identify gaps affecting maternal and neonatal healthcare services.
Minimum Qualifications

Diploma in Pharmacy (Essential)
Experience
At least one year of professional experience as a pharmacist
Languages
