China Railway Seventh Group Co. Ltd (CRSG) is a civil construction company registered under Contractors Registration Board (CRB) for roads and buildings constructions. Now is looking for qualified candidates to fill the following job positions in one of our road project located in Karatu District.

JOB POSITION: MATERIAL ENGINEER
Requirements:
1. Familiar with Tanzania Road Specifications Standards For Road Works, Laboratory Testing Manual, Pavement and Materials Design Manual
2. With at least (5) years material engineer work experience and good management skills to manage all the laboratory works and staff
3. Should be able to choose proper lab equipments according to the requirement of the project, and operate the test equipments skillfully, meanwhile with ability to guide the technicians
4. Capable of Interpreting the material inspection report, test report and preparing the report.
5. With good communication and interpersonal skills so as to communicate effectively with field personnel and engineers.
Technical requirements:
1. Should be capable of conducting l performance testing, evaluation of construction materials (soil, sand, gravel, asphalt, rebar), and giving technical advice on the suitability of materials
2. Capable of concrete design
3. Capable of Cement stabilization design
4. Able to arrange and operate on-site testing
5. Able to prepare quality control plan, quality control report, and on-site investigation report for certain works quality issues
JOB POSITION: STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
Requirements:
1. Familiar with Tanzania Road Specifications Standards for Road Works, and other specifications related to structural design, construction, and measurements.
2. Be able to prepare structural construction program.
3. Capable of examining construction drawings and calculations based on the construction drawings.
4. Should be able to design structural drawings independently (including box culverts, pipe culverts, prefabricated components and subsidiaries, etc.)
5. Be able to calculate the structural load and stress.
6. Be skilled in auto CAD and other design software.
7. Capable of conducting the layout of the structures, supervising the structure works, and capable of measurement works.
JOB POSITION: SURVEY TECHNICIAN
Requirements:
1. Familiar with Tanzania Road Specifications Standard for Road Works, and other measurement related specifications.
2. Be able to prepare measurement scheme.
3. Skillful use of Excel, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.
4. With (5) and above working experience as a survey technician, having good skills of
coordination and management so as to arrange the field survey work properly.
5. With good communication and interpersonal skills, be able to communicate effectively with field personnel, and engineers.
JOB POSITION: DRAFTSMAN
Requirements:
1. Able to use design software such as Auto CAD.
2. With five (5) years working experience as a draftsman in roads construction projects
3. Having good communication and reporting skills
