About the AVBOB Long Term Insurance Unemployed Learnerships 2026
AVBOB is partnering with the Insurance Sector Education and Training Authority (INSETA) to offer this intensive learnership. It blends theoretical education with practical, on-the-job training.
Programme Structure:
Theoretical Training: Accredited coursework provided by an approved training provider.
Workplace Experience: Hands-on practical work at AVBOB branches to apply what you learn.
Qualification: Upon successful completion, you will receive a registered Long Term Insurance Qualification (NQF Level 4) with 140 credits.

Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be a South African citizen.
Be between the ages of 18 and 35.
Possess a valid Matric certificate.
Have passed English and either Mathematics, Maths Literacy, or Accounting.
Must not have attended any previous learnership.
Must not be currently registered with any academic institution or studying.
Have reliable transport.
Be willing to work in AVBOB offices within the Northern Region (Malamulele, Limpopo).
Advantageous Skills:
Ownership of a smartphone or laptop.
Basic computer literacy (MS Office, email, internet).
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently and show initiative.
