The Foodtech Frontier Challenge invites startups from across the globe to co-develop breakthrough innovations in taste, texture, nutrition, and sustainability. Organized under three key themes — ingredients, processing, and sustainability — this challenge offers participants a chance to bring pioneering ideas to life and fast-track their path to commercial partnerships and market adoption.

Funding and Support
- Over S$450,000 in paid pilot opportunities from industry challenge owners
- S$20,000 POC development grant for eligible startups/SMEs via Enterprise Singapore
- Note: Foreign startups may qualify if developmental activities are based in Singapore and a local entity is incorporated.
- Singapore-incorporated startups may also be funded for projects with overseas pilot potential

- Must demonstrate a vision to solve challenges under the ingredients, processing, or sustainability themes
Evaluation Criteria
Applications will be assessed on:
- Innovation: How unique and technically sound is the solution?
- Sustainability Impact: How well does the solution address environmental challenges?
- Business Feasibility: Is there clear potential for scalability and market acceptance?
- Team Capability: Do team members have the skills and proven experience to deliver?
- Proof of Concept: Is there a well-defined MVP or implementation plan?
