Turn off Automatically Adjust Brightness

Other way to fix Netflix screen flicker is to turn off the Automatic Adjust brightness. This will improve the flicker issue of Netflix.

To turn off ‘Automatically adjust brightness’ Go to to Macbook  System Preferences  – > Displays.

Turn on Automatic Graphics Switching settings

The macbook pro have dual graphic card and mac can switch between the card to save battery etc.

The solution to the problem is to go to System Settings and select Energy Savings.

There you’ll find the checkbox, “Automatic Graphics Switching”, which is turned on by default. Uncheck the tickbox and the flickering stops.

Turn off Shake Mouse pointer settings

Update the Macbook :
