kLab Startup Academy Program. Insufficient digital skills has proven to be one of Rwanda’s challenges and an urgent one that needs addressing. The rise in need for digital skills has become more critical following the outbreak of Covid-19 which left most companies and countries struggling to adopt the new normal of conducting business and getting work done.
kLab startups Academy created two programs which are Entrepreneurs & Innovators program, Talent program to facilitate acquiring of digital skills by innovators and entrepreneurs as well as talents looking to pursue a career in the tech industry.
The Entrepreneurs & Innovators program will focus on providing business skills and capacity building on the business aspects from the ideation stage to marketable prototype. This program is made for young techpreneurs who are responding to different challenges that are faced by the community in the technology ecosystem and then come up with solutions that respond to the challenges. These tech entrepreneurs are high school graduates, University students and young entrepreneurs and innovators.\
Eligbility
- Tech entrepreneurs
- Tech Talents/software developers
Student from High school graduate or TVET or University
Tech Entrepreneurs
Willing to become software developer and Entrepreneurs
Having worked on 1 or more IT project (i.e., school project)
Being familiar with programming (i.e., web development or mobile app development)
