This advanced setup features a newly developed, high-capacity 22.7 kWh lithium-ion battery, offering an impressive all-electric driving range of up to 100 km (WLTP combined) ideal for covering the daily needs of most drivers.
Derived from Toyota’s electric vehicle expertise, the new battery allows for significantly faster charging. Equipped with a rare-in-class 50 kW DC onboard charger, the RAV4 can recharge from 10% to 80% in as little as 30 minutes under optimal conditions. Additionally, a new 11 kW AC charger enables quicker home and public charging, cutting charge times in half to just three hours.
Performance has also been enhanced with a more powerful front motor delivering 150 kW an increase of 16 kW providing strong acceleration and responsiveness. Combined with Toyota’s intelligent all-wheel drive system (AWD-i), the new RAV4 delivers a class-leading total power output of 304 DIN hp, enabling a rapid 0–100 km/h sprint in just 5.8 seconds.”
