The PowerUP Business Plan Competition 2025 is now accepting applications! Organized by the Brooklyn Public Library, this prestigious program has supported the dreams of local entrepreneurs since 2003—nurturing over 10,900 individuals, reviewing more than 1,800 business plans, and awarding over $650,000 in cash and in-kind gifts.

Who Can Apply for PowerUP Business Plan Competition 2025?
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be 18 years or older
- Live in Brooklyn and plan to launch a business in Brooklyn
- Attend an orientation session
- Obtain a Brooklyn Public Library Card
- Meet with a business advisor
- Attend a minimum of three PowerUP webinar classes
