All citizens who have applied for the position of Clerks and Content Managers and ICT officers have been required to be patient with the announcement of the names of candidates who will participate in the interview for the relevant positions in the implementation of the Census.
The call was issued by the Commissioner of the 2022 Population and Housing Census Hon. Anne Makinda met with the Katavi Regional Census Committee and Development Stakeholders of the region.

Ms Makinda said the Census has its own internationally recognized schedule and so everything is done on time.

“There are people who are complaining about why we do not release names of those who have been employed for Clerks and Supervisors jobs, the Statistics Offices are following the National laws and procedures, there is a timetable for implementing the Census,” said Makinda.

She said at present the training of Trainers who will train Census Clerks is ongoing and when completed will follow the training of Clerks and Content Managers.
The Population and Housing Census will be held on August 23, 2022. Census for Development, Prepare to Count.
