JOB TITLE: LEGAL OFFICER – CORPORATE 1 POSITION
REQUIRED ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Holder of LLB degree from a recognised higher learning institution, plus one year attendance of internship/The Law school, must have at least 3 years relevant working experience. Registration as an Advocate of the High Court is an added advantage. Must be computer literate.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deals with all legal routine correspondences addressed to the Company.
- Represents KLICL in various internal and external consultations and negotiations on Legal issues to ensure KLICL’s interests are effectively safeguarded.
- Provides sound legal opinion, assists in the interpretation of Labor laws, rules, regulations and policies.
- Prepares work plans and budgets for the Unit.
- Participates in preparing Board and Management meetings by drafting and ensuring timely circulation of Notices, Memos and meeting minutes to members.
- Prepares and ensures timely submission of Management implementation reports on Board resolutions
- Under supervision of Head of Legal Unit, represents KLICL in courts, mediation & arbitration agencies.
- Attends disciplinary sessions to ensure correct legal actions.
- Performs any other related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
JOB TITLE: PROCUREMENT AND SUPPLIES OFFICER 1 POSITION
REQUIRED ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Holders of Bachelor Degree in Procurement and Supplies Management, Procurement and Logistics/Materials Management, Business Administration with a major in Procurement and Supplies from a recognised higher learning institution, with at least 3 years relevant working experience. Must be registered by the Procurement and supplies Professional and Technical
Board (PSPTB) as a graduate, Procurement and Supplies Professional. Must be computer literate.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepares purchase requisitions/orders upon obtaining relevant approvals
- Follows up on orders for timely delivery
- Facilitates receipt, inspection and disbursement of goods to user departments
- Assists in preparation of Annual Procurement Plan and Tender Board meeting documents
- Supervises procurement of materials as stipulated in the procurement plan
- Prepares contract documents and maintains a list or register of all contracts awarded to service providers

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive, record, keep and distribute incoming, outgoing and internally created mail (such as letters, memoranda’s etc.)
- Opens and prepares file indexes attaches relevant papers and dispatches files to action officers

- Administers the company’s compensation and benefits plans.
- Prepares staff salaries, incentives, and all staff benefits.

- Participates in the review of cost-effective and competitive compensation and benefits policies

- Responsible for sales of KLICL products in different segments in Tanzania.
- Evaluate and analyze sales data trends, establish dynamics within the target market;
- Determine long-term sales strategies by sourcing new customers and establish distribution centers

- Maintain positive business relationships with customers to ensure future sales
- Assist in negotiation and closing business on behalf of the Company
- Represent the Company on different marketing opportunities/events

JOB TITLE: QUALITY CONTROLLERS 3 POSITIONS
REQUIRED ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Holder of Bachelor Degree in Production Operations and Management, Manufacturing Management in Quality Management, Bachelor of science in business quality management, bachelor degree in quality management systems or any relevant related field, with three years relevant working experience, preferably with FMCG companies. Must be computer literate.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures that the quality of all products produced meet customers’ needs/expectations
- Performs various checks, inspects the quality of products at every stage of production, until the final stage of packing.
- Ensures optimum quality of raw materials is availed for manufacturing.
- Report on daily, weekly and monthly basis on quality metrics, on any deviations during the production process
- Ensures that the overall operations related to quality issues are executed to the highest possible standards
- Ensures that health, safety and environmental protocols are in place and followed

JOB TITLE: UTILITIES SUPERVISOR 1 POSITION
REQUIRED ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION AND WORKING EXPERIENCES
Holder of Bachelor Degree in electrical Engineering from a recognized higher learning institution with 3 years working experience in utilities management. Must be computer literate.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure availability of utilities and equipment on a daily basis, monitoring and analyze operational data.
- Prepare execution plan for both preventive and corrective maintenance for buildings and utilities and prepare a report after execution
- Monitor and analyze buildings and performance of facilities in order to identify areas of improvement and develop alternative solutions
- Monitor all KPIs associated with utility and produce monthly reports including EHS reports. Ensure collection of energy data, analysis and advise improvement to optimize energy usage.
- Supervise staff, plan related duties and propose training /skills requirement to improve team performance.
- Develop optimal maintenance programs for buildings and utility, in order to maximize efficiency and reduce costs, while protecting the company’s assets.
- Identify and implement global initiatives and best practices to ensure performance improvement and consistency.
- Performs any other related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
