Ushetu District Council is a Council established on 23/11/2012 through government proclamation GN 362/2012 following the government’s decision to bring services closer to the people. This is due to the division of Kahama District Council into 3 Councils which are Kahama Town Council, Msalala District Council and include.
The council is located in the northwest (south of Lake Victoria). The Council is located between Latitudi fibers 3015 ° and 4030 ° south of the equator and Longitudi 31030 ° and 33000 ° south of the Griniwichi line.
