700 million to repair Karagwe road. The government has provided 700 million shillings to support the rehabilitation of a 96-kilometer road in Karagwe constituency in Kagera region.
Among other things, the rehabilitation of the road will facilitate communication, and improve social services in the Karagwe province.
During his visit to inspect the road being repaired with the money, Karagwe MP Innocent Bashungwa called for the money to be used for its intended purpose.
Rehabilitation of the road runs from Nyakahanga ward to Nyabiyonza, Bweranyange, Nyakakika, Nyakabanga, Kibondo and Lukanja wards.
During his visit, Bashungwa was accompanied by various ward councilors, Rural and Urban Roads Agency Executives (TARURA) and National Roads Agency Executives (TANROADS).
