App To Check COVID 19 Symptoms. According to The Citizen website, Tanzanians can now easily and safely diagnose Covid 19 symptoms using a new method at home, thanks to the new Aga Khan Health Care Program and Aga Khan University (AKU) .

According to the website, the two organizations have launched a new Android and iPhone app that allows people to easily diagnose Covid 19 symptoms at home and, therefore, know the next steps after knowing their health. The app, nicknamed CoronaCheck, can be downloaded from the Play Store and App Store for free.
Through this app which is available in Swahili and English, you will be able to answer a variety of questions about your health including explaining if you are experiencing symptoms of discomfort in your body. Also through the app you will be able to get useful tips about corona virus, as well as access emergency COVID-19 emergency numbers.

The program is the first of its kind in Tanzania, but it is not the first program that provides an opportunity to educate about the corona virus. A few weeks ago, the Australian government also launched a special app to help easily detect the infected corona virus called CovidSafe.
