CALL FOR APPLICATION TO PROVIDE CONSULTANCY SERVICE
Introduction
Elimu Haina Mwisho: Skills Development Program for young women through FDCs is a program that is implemented by Karibu Tanzania Organization (KTO) in close collaboration with the Ministry of Education Science and Technology (MoEST), through 41 Folk Development Colleges (FDCs). The Program focuses on building capacity to enhance the quality-of-Life Skills and Education to improve prospects for young mothers to secure employment or to start entrepreneurial activities. The programs’ approach is for out of school young women including young mothers to undergo vocational training in combination with secondary education at the Folk Development Colleges (FDCs).
Activity Purpose and Description
KTO would like to document the program’s impact stories as they are told by beneficiaries, the program participants from FDCs. The stories will be told in terms of video interviews with EHM participants and their community members including family members and FDC personnel from three selected FDCs namely: Malya, Katumba, and Sengerema FDCs. The aim is to Influence other girls in the same situation (who have dropped out of school for various reasons), Influence policy makers, Inform the public about girls’ right to education and the importance of giving them a second chance, Increase visibility of the organizations and the programs.
KTO would like to engage a producer (consultant) to produce three short documentaries of 3 – 5 minutes each. The documentaries will be developed in the three selected FDCs based in Mbeya and Mwanza regions between March 18 – 25, 2021.
Mode of Application
Interested producer should submit his/her financial and technical proposal by March 17, 2021, noon. The following documents/details should be attached while submitting the proposal: Company profile, Company registration proof documentations (Business license, TIN, and VRN), Sample documentary links, List of past customers for reference, Name and contacts of the responsible producer.
