Job Description
Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced Central Region Strategy & Performance (Uganda, Tanzania or Ghana), to join the CCBA Country Strategy Team. The successful applicant will be reporting into Group Strategy & Performance.

The role will contribute to CCBA vision by developing the country Long Range Plan and Annual Business Plans process following Group guidelines and orchestrate the implementation of the LRP and the ABP in country in collaboration with TCCC franchise leader representative. The incumbent will be also responsible for localizing the RGM WTP out look, overseeing the implementation of priority initiatives and contribute to the plans a deeply understanding of the market to support the country decision-making process. Additionally, the incumbent will lead the business performance reviews.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Comprehend local macroeconomics, social & political context, customer/consumer trends, and business needs
Articulate the recommendation for the country 5-year LRP following Global guidelines and objectives.
Perform local RGM Where to Play process steps as per RGM 2.0, including but not limited to opportunity identification, analysis and prioritization to deliver vision and target.
Lead the development process of the Country Annual Business Plan (ABP) coordinating with all relevant country functions to develop their respective contributions to the LRP objectives and targets.
Map segmented opportunities to leverage Country growth e.g., territory-specific, as well as lead effort to develop local contingency plan for identified imminent risk.
Leverage standard KPIs and detail for local needs.
Connect different data sources to understand Country business performance, identify opportunities/risks to accomplish ABP targets and develop mitigation actions jointly with the commercial team.
Oversee Country initiatives definition, approval and progress understanding how they contribute to the ABP and participating when required.
Drive country Performance & Planning reviews routines to report business performance and enable decision making.
Perform Country-specific reporting to Group Office.
Convert and implement strategic initiatives from RGM and LRP into tangible projects
Estimate and quantify benefits and revenue recognition targets and deliverables with the associated dates
Be responsible for in country PMO
Lead and perform Country Strategy and Performance budget
Lead Consumer, Customer, Shopper, Competitor Master data integrity
Skills, Experience & Education
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration
Post Graduate Qualification: MBA or equivalent in Strategy and/or Management Consulting advantageous
Experience:
15-20 years of proven track record in Strategy, Planning or Management consulting roles with well-developed competency in managing complex strategic / planning projects.
Proven track record in management consulting or senior strategic role (5 years min) with well-developed competency in managing complex strategic projects
Demonstrated understanding of financial drivers to Realize Revenue growth, improve GP margins and deliver improved EBIT performance
Excellent understanding of the industry, business and procedures and implications for driving profitable business
Demonstrate expertise in defining, managing and providing simple solutions to complex market and business challenges, articulating “choices” that need to be made with associated implications
Proven experience in multi-category and multi-geographic operations
Substantial exposure to corporate strategy management, strategy formulation and decision making
Experience in a wide range of strategic decision-making processes and as a result have become comfortable assessing a business
Strong and proven financial and business acumen with demonstrated ability to understand P&L drivers
Demonstrated ability to develop, influence and lead networked teams with multiple stakeholders across the System (countries and AOU teams)
Demonstrated ability to engage, influence and lead discussions with Executive teams
