How to check 2023 KCSE results online, Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu released the 2023 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination results, with 899,453 candidates participating. CS Machogu, at Moi Girls High School in Eldoret, announced that candidates can now access their results on the KNEC website, using their index numbers and names.

Machogu assured the system’s functionality, stating improvements had been made, collaborating with engineers and experts to avoid inconveniences experienced previously. Results will also be distributed to sub county education officers for exam center dissemination.
The SMS system, previously used, has been abolished, and a more effective, cost-free system has been implemented. The exams took place from October 23 to November 24, featuring a new grading system focusing on Mathematics and one language.
Examiners will select the best-performed subjects, discarding the previous 8-4-4 system’s mandatory clusters. This change aims to address perceived disadvantages in the previous system, offering a more inclusive evaluation approach.
