After a seven-month wait, FIFA has ordered Morocco’s Wydad Casablanca to pay Tanzanian international star Simon Msuva $ 700,000 (over Sh1.6 billion).
Happygod Msuva’s family, when contacted by Mwanaspoti, said they thanked God for hearing their cry over their son Msuva who sued the club FIFA for failing to pay his registration fees along with salary arrears which prompted the star to return home.
The player’s father Happygod Msuva said since November last year when they reported the matter to FIFA the family fasted in prayer and cried out to God.
“Family we decided to leave this matter to God and told God If justice belongs to our boy it will happen and if it belongs to Wydad then it will be seen,” said old Msuva.
He said after receiving the information, the whole family burst into tears of joy after waiting for justice for a long time.
“That is, right now no one can speak except Msuva, brother, mother or sister all thank God for acting,” he said.
