The National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA) has announced the schedule of Form Two examinations which will start tomorrow November 9 to November 20, 2020 in 4948 secondary schools in mainland Tanzania.
The Executive Secretary of the National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA), Dr. Charles Msonde. Speaking to reporters today November 8, 2020 Executive Secretary of the Council Dr. Charles Msonde said that November each year is a month of testing and various national examinations, after which the Form Two examinations will be followed by the Form Four examinations which will start on November 23 to December 11, 2020 for mainland and Zanzibar.

At the same time Dr. Msonde said that the standard Four examinations will be held on November 25 and 26, 2020 where a total of 17,812 primary schools while 1,825,679 candidates are registered to take the national examination. Among them boys are 909,068 equivalent to 49.8 percent and girls are 916,616 equivalent to 50.2 percent.
“A total of 646,148 are registered for the National Examination of Form Two, 2020 of which 301,831 boys or 46.71 percent and girls are 344,317 equivalent to 53.29 percent. In addition, there are 731 special needs candidates and 406 of them are visually impaired, 55 are blind, 3 are hearing impaired and 267 are physically challenged ”, said Dr. Msonde.
