The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF), previously Football Association of Tanzania (FAT), is the governing body of football in Tanzania and oversees the Tanzania national football teams. It was founded in 1930 and is affiliated to FIFA since 1964.

The Federation was founded in 1930 as Tanganyika Football Association (TFA). It was later renamed as Football Association of Tanzania (FAT) in 1971 after major amendments in its Constitution.
FAT existed until 2004 when the new name TFF came into force after the body’s General Assembly held on 27th December of the same year.
The Current TFF Constitution came into force 15th January 2006 following the General Assembly held in Dar es Salaam on 14th and 15th January 2006.

Currently, Wallace Karia is the President of Tanzania Football Federation (TFF), succeeding to Jamal Malinzi in August 2017.
TFF regions and blocks are becoming more empowered under his leadership as he believes they are the drivers of development agenda.
New Ratiba Ya VPL Vodacom Premier League 2019/2020 will be available here soon when released by Tanzania League Board on next weekend.
After a long silence, the Premier League Board of Tanzania (TPLB) has announced that Premier League matches this season and other tournaments will return from June 13.
Speaking in the city today, May 28, 2020 TPLB Chief Executive, Almas Kasongo said that the decision was reached after discussions between the football authorities and the government.
“So after the occasional debate and received technical information from the technical committee, the committee was satisfied that June 13 was the right time to continue our remaining games” said Kasongo
So take this opportunity for me as the league’s chief executive to announce that the league’s return date is June 13, 2020.
“This is a time when clubs are free to start training but the important thing is to pay attention to all the coronavirus precautions while we wait for the procedure and guidance that will be brought to us from the National Corona committee,” said Kasongo.
Kasongo said that in addition to planning a league return day, the league’s management and management committee has also scheduled May 31 to be a day to announce the league’s schedule.
