Regarding a potential second season of “Redo of Healer,” many anticipated it wouldn’t be renewed due to its graphic violence and assault scenes, and indeed, it wasn’t. However, a recent tweet from Rui Tsukiyo, the author of “Redo of Healer,” has kindled hope among fans for a possible sequel.

Though Tsukiyo’s response was cautious and didn’t provide a definitive answer, some fans see it as a glimmer of hope.

It’s important to highlight that despite the controversies accompanying each episode, the series succeeded in its objective of bolstering the source material’s popularity. The anime witnessed significant sales of Blu-ray/DVDs, and the light novel on which the series is based also saw a boost in sales.

The decision to produce another season of this highly polarizing series now lies with Studio TNK and the production committee, as they weigh the potential profitability.

For those unacquainted with “Redo of Healer,” the narrative unfolds in a fantastical realm, where the protagonist, a healer-type magic user named Keyaru, endures daily mental and physical torment. He uncovers the true potency of healing magic and exploits this knowledge to travel back in time four years, seeking slow and painful retribution against those who harmed him.

Rui Tsukiyo and Shiokonbu are the respective author and illustrator of the light novel series that serves as the anime’s foundation. Commencing its online serialization in December 2016, it originally appeared on the community-driven novel platform Shōsetsuka ni Narō before being picked up by Kadokawa Shoten.

Since July 2017, the series has been published under Kadokawa’s Sneaker Bunko imprint. Furthermore, Sōken Haga has been crafting a manga adaptation, serialized on Kadokawa Shoten’s Young Ace Up platform, starting in October 2017.
