Samsung released the Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e in early 2019. The tablet debuted with One UI based on Android 9.0 Pie. It was then updated based on last year’s Android 10 One UI 2.x. It is now starting to get its last major system update in the form of One UI 3.1 (Android 11).
Samsung will release the Android 11 (One UI 3.x) update for the corresponding smartphones and tablets starting December. Within a few months, the company shipped Android 11 to most of the devices.
Only some products need updating, eg. B. Galaxy Tab S5e, which is now also available. According to SamMobile, the One UI 3.1 update for this tablet is currently available in Russia and Great Britain with the firmware version T72XXXU2DUD1.
Like other OTA updates, those updates are sent in batches. Therefore, it will take a while to reach each unit. Apart from the two countries mentioned above, the update will also affect other countries in the coming days.
These tablet users can check under Settings> Software Update> Download and Install whether their device has received an update.
Even though Android 11 is the latest major system update for the Galaxy Tab S5e, it will receive security updates in 2023.
