Job description SME Sales Executive
The candidate will be responsible to Acquire Quality Small and Medium Size Businesses customers who will contribute towards the Organization’s acquisition targets for Enterprise Business Gross Adds on Mobile Voice & Data as well as Fixed Voice and Data services. Retention of such customer and facilitate the After Sales Support activities.
Responsibilities
- Business Opportunity Identification.
- Develop a scientific sales pipeline that resonates with the established Business Enterprise target for Tanzania’s OPCO GPS.
- Provide efficient and effective proactive customer care support, and through this activity, build a sustainable relationship, capable of preventing churn and exploit further revenue.
- Articulate Full Knowledge of Airtel Products, Services and its Value added proposition for sales peach and presentation activities.
- Demonstrate the understand of the prospect client business needs and offer the solution around their needs.
- To Act as the first point of contact to the customer and capture all the sales details/leads information such as Tender, RFQ, New Requirement, and all the organic growth opportunities at hand.
- Ability to Analyze competition proposition and tracking of competition activities for visibility on the opportunity identification of the respective base.
- Daily Market Visit of SME Customers per the agreed KPIs
- Prepare and Submit weekly performance report per the agreed KPIs
- Timely Client Business Review & Contract Renewal
2.Increase share of wallet
- Capitalize on organic growth of Business Enterprise Portfolio
- Strategic Customer Engagement on new products/services and VAS
- Periodic courtesy calls to the existing customers to maintained and or build stronger relationship and pick up additional needs/leads
3.Minimize debts
- Ensure each contract is correctly activated and billed per the agreed commercials.
- Ensure customer queries are resolved on a timely fashion and per the agreed SLA
4.Minimize churn at account level
- Timely service delivery to enhance service level expectations adherence.
- Determine ways to differentiate from competitors
5.Provide first hand support to customers

Qualifications
- University degree in business, sales, marketing or equivalent qualification
- 5 years working experience in sales from Telecommunications Industry
- IT Literacy will be an added advantage
- Able to operate in a performance driven organization
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
