South African Muslim Network (SAMNET) invites students to apply for Bursary Programme for 2021 academic year.

South African Muslim Network (SAMNET) Bursaries 2021
SAMNET will be awarding bursaries for studies within the following fields:
- Communications
- Journalism
- Media studies
- Political Science
- and other related fields
The bursary will provide cover for the cost of tuition fees only.
Shortlisted candidates will be contacted – if you do not receive any feedback from SAMNET, please regard your application as unsuccessful.
Requirements
Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):
- South African citizen
- Completed Matric
- Studying or intend on studying within one of the aforementioned fields of study
- Studying or intend on studying at a recognised tertiary institute in South Africa
- In financial need and are unable to pay for your studies
- Eligible for Zakat
How to apply
Students who meet the above minimum eligibility criteria, must email [email protected] to request a copy of the bursary application form.
Please include a brief introduction about who you are, what you are studying and which institute you are studying at.
You may be required to submit certified copies of your ID document, qualifications and proof of tertiary application/ registration for 2021 – ensure that you have all these supporting documents ready to submit with your completed application form before the deadline.
