In order to strengthen its operations the company is seeking a suitably qualified Tanzanian to fill the following vacancy:
MARKETING OFFICERS (3 positios)
Key Role: Identifying potential new customers and closing deals.
Location: Dar es Salaam, Mwanza, Mbeya
Salary: Negotiable
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies that ensures sustained business growth
- Develop relationships at a variety of levels within prospect customer organization to create active sales pipeline.
- Client retention strategies and active management of attrition
- Responsible for managing the existing customer base and in addition they will be expected to cross-sell products and services among the existing accounts
- Analysis of the effectiveness of all marketing efforts
- Managing and developing contacts, accounts, leads and opportunities.
- Managing social media platforms, developing and executing social media marketing strategies.
- Conduct market research to find answers about consumer requirements, habits and trends
- Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns.
- Liaise with external vendors to execute promotional events and campaigns
- Collaborate with marketing and other professionals to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts
- Conducting a Door to Door Sales and Marketing on different sites ie: Govt & Private Institutions, Schools, Private Houses, Warehouses, Bars & Restaurants etc
- Undertake individual tasks of a marketing plan as assigned
Qualifications
- Diploma in Marketing/Sales, Business Administration or related field of study
- 3 years progressive Sales & Marketing experience, Experience in Private Security Industry is an added advantage
- Field sales experience particularly selling Guarding and Alarm services
- Good knowledge of security services pricing
- Excellent knowledge of winning strategies within the security services industry
- Strong commercial and financial awareness and marketing focus.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent proposal and report writing
