Top 10 Regions Matokeo Ya Darasa La Saba 2020/2021. The National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA) has said the Dar es Salaam region has shown a national lead of 93.50 percent in its results compared to 31 other regions in mainland Tanzania and the Islands.
Dar es Salaam Region had a population of 671 schools and had 81,677 candidates and the pass rate between grades A to C is 93.50 percent.
This was stated today Saturday, November 21, 2020 by the Executive Secretary of NECTA, Dr. Charles Msonde while announcing the results of the primary school leaving examination held in October, this year.
“We have organized these schools in the order of regions and councils, municipalities and the city successfully, in the leading regions is Dar es Salaam which ranked first, Arusha second with 92.42 percent and number three is Simiyu with 91.98 percent,” said Dr Msonde

The next region is Katavi with 91.06 percent success followed by Kilimanjaro (88.84) Iringa (88.56) Kagera (88.28) Morogoro (87.21) Coast (86.99) and Mwanza region with 86.71 percent success.
The success of the child stimulates the parent’s desire to raise money for education However, Dr Msonde said the three regions with the highest performance for three consecutive years are Simiyu, Mara and Lindi and the two lowest performing regions are Mtwara and Singida.
