VandalMail is the email system used by the University of Idaho, which is a public research university located in Moscow, Idaho, USA. VandalMail is provided to all students, faculty, and staff of the University of Idaho, and it is used for official university communications.
VandalMail – Access University of Idaho Student Email System
To access VandalMail, users can log in to the webmail portal using their University of Idaho NetID and password. Alternatively, users can configure their VandalMail account to work with an email client such as Microsoft Outlook or Apple Mail.
VandalMail offers a range of features and capabilities, including the ability to send and receive email messages, organize messages into folders, search for messages, and manage contacts. VandalMail also includes features such as spam filtering, antivirus protection, and access to the university’s calendar system.
VandalMail Login
To login to your account, you can follow these steps:
- Go to the official webpage using this link https://vandalweb.uidaho.edu/
- Enter your University of Idaho NetID in the first field.
- Enter your password in the second field.
- Click on the “Login” button.
Account Activation
If you are a new user, you will need to activate your account before you can login for the first time. To activate your account, follow these steps:
- Go to the University of Idaho Account Activation we page https://www.uidaho.edu/registrar/faculty/vandalweb
- Enter your NetID in the first field.
- Enter your date of birth in the second field.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the activation process.
After login you should arrive at the Main Menu and depending upon your affiliation with the university you will see a combination of the following menus:
- Faculty & Advisor Menu – select to access teaching and student advising information.
- Personal Information/Address Menu – select to update your address, change your six-character PIN, change your security question.
- Employee Menu – select to view your employment information.
- Student Menu – select to view your own student record if you were a former student and to register for classes if you are a current student.
