The Chief of Police is pleased to announce that interviews for young applicants who applied for police recruitment through the Tanzania Police Force Recruitment Portal will take place from July 29, 2024, to August 11, 2024, nationwide.
Interview Schedule and Locations
- Mainland Tanzania Applicants: Those with Bachelor’s, Diploma, and Certificate qualifications will have their interviews conducted in Dar es Salaam at the Police Academy (DPA) located on Kilwa Road (Kurasini).
- Mainland Tanzania Applicants with O-Level and A-Level Education: Interviews will be conducted in the regions they selected during the application process.
- Zanzibar Applicants: Those with Bachelor’s, Diploma, Certificate, O-Level, and A-Level qualifications will have their interviews in Zanzibar. For those in the Unguja regions, interviews will be held at the Zanzibar Police Headquarters, and for those in the Pemba regions, interviews will be conducted at the Southern Pemba Regional Police Commander’s Office (Chakechake).

- Birth certificate
- National Identification Authority (NIDA) ID or NIDA identification number
- Sportswear and shoes
Any applicant who arrives for the interview after July 29, 2024, will not be accepted. The list of shortlisted candidates for the interview is attached to this announcement below
