NCEA 2023 Exam Timetable. NCEA services span the secondary and tertiary education sectors. NZQA administers the National Certificates of Educational Achievement (NCEAs) for secondary school students and is responsible for the quality assurance of non-university tertiary training providers.
NZQA’s priority is to support our diverse range of clients by providing effective and efficient services, within our statutory mandate, that meet their specific needs.
2023 Exam Timetable date range
The 2023 Examination Timetable for current NCEA standards and New Zealand Scholarship will run from Monday 6 November until Thursday 30 November.
No sessions are scheduled for Canterbury Anniversary Day (observed Friday 17 November) however, exams will proceed on the Chatham Islands Anniversary Day (observed Monday 27 November) given that the number of entries is likely to be low. Westland Anniversary Day (observed Monday 4 December) falls outside the exam date range for 2023.
